Estimote Beacons are shipped with default settings adjusted for high signal responsiveness and optimal equate power consumption. All the values listed below can be changed to suit your needs more, whether you require a more stable signal, longer range, or improved longevity.
Please note that since September 2017 Proximity and Location Beacons ship with Estimote Monitoring enabled by default. This allows for much better reliability and beacon detection, it also makes it easier to configure proper interactions with our SDK.

Changing settings
If you want to change the settings of your beacons, you can do that either with the Estimote app (iOS/Android) or in the Estimote Cloud dashboard.
Settings can also be changed programmatically, via Estimote SDK and API.
