Some of the museums in the world try to live up to the challenge of being modern and innovative - the best way to do it is to implement beacons next to the world’s finest pieces of culture.
Mobile2you - an interactive agency which also developed an app for fairs decided to enrich vistiors’ experience with Estimote beacons. They were installed in the Acerp (Educational Roquette Pinto Communication Association), located in Botafogo Beach, in Rio de Janeiro.
When a user approaches an exhibit, the mobile app delivers some multimedia content associated with it. The app also helps visually and hearing impaired with either audio description or videos in sign-language.
This is the first format project designed by Mobile2you. We want to bring the idea to all museums in Rio de Janeiro, said the CEO and founder of Mobile2You, Caio Bretones.
