With Estimote Monitoring, the ultimate goal is to improve the reliability of enter/exit reporting. We apply complex math on top of a ton of research and experience related to beacon detection. The latest version of the Estimote Monitoring also addresses pre-configuration hassle and lifts the region monitoring limit.
Estimote Monitoring works out of the box for both Proximity and Location beacons shipped after mid-September 2017. If you’ve got your beacons before, you can easily switch! We describe the two available methods below.
Enable Estimote Monitoring in the Estimote Cloud
- Log in to the Estimote Cloud
- Open the settings of an individual beacon or check multiple ones and select "Edit"
- Enable Estimote Monitoring as shown below and save the changes.
- Keep in mind that it will only create 'pending settings' on your beacon(s). You will need to connect to each beacon to apply those settings. Use the Estimote app for iOS or Android if you have a few beacons or Estimote Deployment App for bulk updates (available only for iOS).
